Mesmo depois de aquisio pela japonesa, est磺dio Ocidental continua com operaes independentes.

A Eidos, que distribui e desenvolve games no Ocidente, foi adquirida pela oriental Square Enix na 絺ltima semana em uma transao de US$ 122 milh磵es, todavia manterá independência em suas operaes.
Segundo o site Joystiq , na declara絧ão oficial, a Square comentou que a Eidos manterá Phil Rogers como CEO , só que agora este se reportará diretamente para Yoichi Wada, responsável pelo estúdio japonês.
O nome Eidos também será mantido, bem como o foco em franquias, noticiou o site VideoGamer.com .
O blog Big Download afirma que a Eidos atualmente trabalha em quatro títulos: Battlestations Pacific, Batman: Arkham Asylum, Just Cause 2 e Deus Ex 3.
